Time-lapse of the Rapture

2010 astronomy photographer of the year, Tom Lowe, has created a short clip of his first film, “TimeScapes“ called “Rapture.” This short video is a collection of footage in the American Southwest with beautiful time-lapse video and photographs mixed together. Lowe used his Canon and Red MX cameras to capture the images for the film.
This short is an awesome video and excellent portrayal of time-lapse cinema. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more of it in TimeScapes. You can follow the production of the film here at twitter.com/timescapes
