Never Stop Exploring

By Morrie Conway

Jimmy Chin, a National Geographic photographer, traverses the steep face of El Capitan in Yosemite, the epicenter of climbing, to show the highlights of modern day climbers.

Filmed by Renan Ozturk, “On Assignment” is about how the two strive to “try to do justicie to the amazing stories of our friends and peers” says Oztruk.

It seemed so serendipitous to be ‘on assignment’ in a place that we all cut out teeth as adventurers and which also ended up becoming the namesake of our collective!

This film shows off some truly stunning footage and transports you into the minds of these climbers that risk it all and push themselves to the limit in reaching the tops of these incredibly difficult mountain faces.

“I thinkthe most honest photos happen when both the subject and the photographer are just in the moment and the rest of the world has fallen away.” – Chin
