Under the moniker “Atlas,” Raymond Jacob has created a new experience of originality in music during a time where much of the music we hear today is sampled and bootlegged. Atlas took it upon himself to take the traditional elements of sound he has learned in his music classes at Santa Clara University in order to delve into a musical experience that is entirely unique.
“I use my environment around me and the sounds I listen to in order to create an original experience that is 100% me,” says Atlas.
The resulting sound is a dynamic crossbreed between trance, dubstep, and house. His latest release, “Bicho De Luz,” is an ambient body grooving instrumental that you will undoubtedly find yourself playing over and over.
