‘Go Pussy!’: Berlusconi finds new party name

Scandal-prone Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has suggested that his political party’s name be changed to “Go Pussy!” This comes at a time where his ratings are at an all time low and has vowed on several occasions to leave Italy “shitty” after he leaves.
“We will change the name of the People of Freedom because people no longer carry it in their hearts,” the 75-year-old told lawmakers from his ruling coalition in parliament, Italian news media reported.
“We will examine any suggestions,” he added.
Berlusconi then reportedly joked: “I’m told the name that would have the biggest success is ‘Go Pussy!’”
Berlusconi, a billionaire media tycoon, first entered politics in the early 1990s with the slogan “Go Italy!” which is a popular football chant.
”‘Go Pussy!’ just about sums up his lifestyle and his way of doing politics.”
He has caused massive uproar within the Italian communities, particularly from feminists, anti-racism campaigners and the Catholic Church.
Aldo Di Biagio, a critic of Berlusconi from the right-wing Future and Freedom party, said: “Berlusconi should stop coming to parliament to tell ridiculous jokes to his deputies who are running away.”
“His time is up. He should resign for the good of Italy.”
The man is currently involved in three ongoing trials for bribery, tax fraud, abuse of office, and paying for sex with a 17-year-old nightclub dancer.
There are also reports in Italian newspapers that he was allegedly provided prostitutes in return for political favors.
