The Ultimate Collaboration
According the the United Nations World Food Programme, at least 66 million children across the developing world attend classes on an empty stomach every day due to natural disaster, conflict, poverty, or poor agricultural infrastructure. In response, Toms Shoes, a company already dedicated to protecting the health and safety of children around the globe by providing shoes to children in need, has started a new collaboration.
Toms founder, Blake Mycoskie is adding even more goodwill and global justice to the Toms mission by collaborating with FEED Project‘s founder, Lauren Bush. The proceeds from one of these limited edition Feed 12 Toms classics will combine the forces of both companies by giving away one pair of shoes and 12 school meals to a child in need. These burlap Toms, with FEED 12 printed in blue/gray and black, are a nod to the burlap bags that FEED sells in their efforts in conquering world hunger.
At only $58 for adults and $28 for children, we can’t imgine a better way to make an impact. Check them out here!
