Kids Say the Darndest Things: About Cigarette Packaging
“The Answer is Plain,” a project collaboration between agency AMV BBDO London and the UK’s Cancer Research Campaign, aims to remove all branding from tobacco packages. The video shows just how susceptible children are to flashy and colorful designs without any concept of the dangers within the appealing and neatly presented boxes. Petitioning for unbranded cigarettes is just one minuscule step in the tobacco campaign, but after discovering that youth are a primary target in tobacco packaging, this step could give millions of youth “one less reason to start [smoking].”
