Wes Anderson’s new flick “Moonrise Kingdom”
Although Wes Anderson‘s latest film titled “Moonrise Kingdom” was released on May 25th in the USA (limited release), I was just made aware of it and feel inclined to write about it anyway. This movie looks awesome. With a star studded cast featuring Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, and Jason Schwartzman, combined with the cinematic genius of Mr. Anderson, this film looks to be a definite cult classic.
The story takes place on an island off the coast of New England in the 1960s where a young boy and girl fall in love and decide to run away together. The town mobilizes in different factions to search for them and it turns the town upside down.
