Kyle Thompson is a 20-year-old photographer from Chicago, Illinois.  He specializes in shooting self-portraits in abandoned locations and creating a surreal world through still imagery.

Thompson’s photography is without a doubt some of my favorite in recent memory.  He suspends reality in his images and creates a believable disbelief in his manufactured world in which you suspend with him.  The fact that these are self-portraits further blows my mind, incredible work.
