SURVIVAL: Muse’s Empowering London Olympics Anthem
If you have yet to feel the hype and anticipation for the London 2012 Summer Olympic, this official music video aims to change that. “Survival,” performed by the British band Muse is quite an appropriate anthem for this years Hunger– I mean Olympic Games. The video is a beautifully assembled montage allowing fans to relive past feats of athletic glory in epic slow motion. I do have to say, the anthem lyrics are a bit much. But, when paired with the faces of triumph, perseverance, and adrenaline of past olympic athletes, it results as nothing but empowering.
Are you excited yet? “Survival” is set to play when athletes enter the stadium and before medal ceremonies, so get used to it now.
