The black figure is unnervingly overwhelmed by the succulence of the Tulip. He is a manifestation of human lust, envy and desire.

As the black figure mutilates the flowers with taste, touch and smell, he brings them back to life. Does director Paris Kain want his audience to indulge and succumb to temptation?

Does he believe that embracing desire leads to new life? Well, in terms of human reproduction, he is spot on, so maybe he is onto something. You decide.
