Do you even own a dog? We adopted my two toy poodles from a shelter after their owner’s family had to give them up. He had alzheimer’s and had to be admitted into a home. Because of his forgetfulness the dogs had learned to pee on rugs. We had a bugger of a time getting them to stop but as they get older they’ve picked it up again (and yes, we take them out a lot). Also, one dog used to eat whatever she could get her hands on (a pack of gum, chapstick, my brother’s blood pressure patch). I think chewing on the patch taught her a lesson. She was like a puppy the way she chewed on everything. Training didn’t help. What helped was blocking her out of certain rooms.
How do you know these people aren’t trying to train their dogs and these pictures aren’t being taken during the training process?
(my point is you want to blame bad owners, but it’s not always the current owner’s fault).

If you actually know anything about dogs you would know that many of the things that are written here are behavior issues that are normal when dogs are left alone or not given enough attention. Also, staring directly into a dogs eyes is threatening to many dogs. You can read about his in any dog behavior book. This post isn’t really funny, because it reveals the ignorance and insensitivity of these dog owners. Pretty sad.

I love dogs and know to not treat them as a member of the family but a member of the pack. However, Anon. is right,it is funny and you should learn to laugh, your dog might like it too.
These behaviors are normal when dogs don’t get enough attention, sure. That’s because it’s normal for average people to have to work full-time jobs. That doesn’t make anyone ignorant or neglectful, it just makes you a petty elitist for criticizing average people who want to have a dog in their lives. Dog ownership shouldn’t be restricted to farmers, ranchers, retirees, and wealthy socialites with plenty of time on their hands.

Actual my dog has learned to read commands that I’ve written on a note pad! Dogs are not as stupid as most liberals that I’ve met!
The dog does not read the word.. It have learn how the note pad looks like when it have to do this. The dog have learned the difference between eatch word in shape and lenght, just like if a chair meant sit and a bed meant lie down, you can see the difference and know what to do.
Dogs are smart, but they dont have the ability to read.

My dog, 11 yr old rotty, knows about 10 or so verbal commands. Lately my son, having read that dogs respond to visual cues, has been teaching Maple American Sign Language, and with some success. To her it is all a game and she loves to play.
