Jam With Terry Crews
We gotta give a shout out to Old Spice and their creative mind, Weiden + Kennedy, for their recent viral advertising campaigns. They have truly impressed, to say the least. In the most recent release, Old Spice muscle man Terry Crews does what no man has done before – play a drum set (and a plethora of other instruments) doing nothing but flexing his muscles. Not only that, but at the end of the video, Mr. Crews invites the viewer to play music using their own keyboard. And he gets angry if you don’t, yelling things like “Play music of get out!” The video has racked up over 2 million views in just 2 days.
“You allow people to be a part of the creative process. It becomes more than just, ‘Hey look at this video,’” said Jason Bagley, a creative director who worked on the project at Wieden + Kennedy.
