Microscopic World Made Clear
Nikon International Small World Competition
The Nikon International Small World Competition examines, ranks and awards photographers for their deliverance of beauty and complexity of subjects seen through a microscopic view. What is known as “photomicrographs” must not only be aesthetically captivating but also contribute to the world of science. Photographers from all over the world contributed their photographic findings from seemingly-otherworldly insects and worms to cellular structures that make us second guess how much our human eyes can really see.
