Vintage Celebrity Mug Shots
Imagine Mel Gibson or Robert Downey Jr. getting escorted by a group of sheriffs on horseback to the local town jail. It’s 1875 and crime permeates throughout the entire American West. Gibson and Downey Jr. just robbed a bank and now must get their mug shot taken.
Alright hold on a minute, this situation obviously never happened, but artist Michael Jason Enriquez has successfully re-created what the two actors’ mug shots might have looked like back then. Might how, you ask? Enriquez altered the shots of real, authentic criminals from the past century to instead display the faces of celebrities who’ve been in trouble with the law.
From Gibson to Lindsay Lohan, this feature covers it all. I must say, however, that I really do think Nick Nolte’s original mug shot is by far the best in celebrity mug shot history.
